# DNJournal

DNJournal is a news site covering the domain industry. It publishes weekly reported domain sales and year-to-date top-100 sales charts. Many investors use these as price references.

## Why it matters

DNJournal sales charts help valuation work, because they show prices for named domains. They list only reported sales. Private deals under NDA do not appear, so the data is incomplete. The chart is also skewed toward higher prices. The site converts foreign currency using rates when sales were reported. A common mistake is treating the chart as a full market record. It is a sample, so combine it with other comps.
