# End user

In the domain aftermarket, an end user is a buyer who will use the domain for a real business or project. This differs from an investor or domainer who buys to resell.

## Why it matters

End users pay the highest prices because the name has direct value to their company. A domainer buying for resale pays a wholesale price. Sellers who find an end user can earn many times the investor price. Buyers should expect a real offer, not a flip price, when the seller knows the buyer is a funded company. Common mistake: assuming the end-user price is a fixed market value. It depends on what the name is worth to that one company, which is why outreach to the right company matters.
