It targets companies that fit the name, such as businesses that use the keyword. ## Why it matters Most good domains do not sell from a for-sale page alone. Outbound sales find the people who need the name. A broker studies who would use the domain, finds the right decision maker and sends a short, specific pitch. This takes research and persistence. Done badly, it looks like spam. Done well, it can reach buyers who never searched. A common mistake is a mass email with a generic pitch and no price anchor. Also check for trademark conflicts before pitching a company whose brand is similar to the name.
