Brandable domain

A short, invented or lightly altered name that sounds like a brand, even though it is not a plain dictionary phrase. It is easy to say and spell, with no fixed meaning.

Why it matters

Brandable names suit startups that want a unique name and clean trademark room. Examples follow the pattern of made-up words, blended words or odd spellings. Value is subjective, so prices vary widely and comparable sales are scarce. A buyer should test pronunciation, spelling and meaning in other languages. Sellers should show the name in a logo mockup or sample sentence. A common mistake is paying for a name that is hard to spell over the phone. If people must ask how it is spelled, the brand loses time. Run the radio test before buying.
