Minimum offer

A minimum offer is the lowest price a seller will accept for a domain. Listings on marketplaces use it to filter out offers that are too low before the owner replies.

Why it matters

Setting a minimum offer saves time. Marketplaces and landing pages can reject offers below the number automatically. The risk is a number set too high, which scares off serious buyers who might negotiate up. Many sellers set it near the lowest wholesale price they accept. Compare it to your reserve price, which is the lowest number you would accept at auction. Common mistake: using the same figure for every name. Short, rare names deserve a floor based on comparable sales, not a round number.
